Meagan desired a change in her life. The world as she knew it was a lonely, desolate place.  Bundling her dreams and her small savings, she moved to Jasmine, Texas; a city where cowboys and merchants flourished, and where cattle trails lead into town from several directions bringing opportunities with them. The biggest challenge she would face, besides owning and operating a small cafe, would be getting to know Rusty Saddler; the man that would become her best friend and show her how to live.  Rusty's attitude towards business convinces Meagan to purchase the Jasmine Hotel and embark upon the greatest adventure of her life.
