Jessica is thoroughly enjoying her summer. Her boyfriend, Jake, is attentive and considerate, and she can't wait until the day that she becomes his wife. But then the nightmares start, and Jessica realizes her perfect life is unraveling.

As Jessica's nightmares intensify, she realizes her mother's new boyfriend is the one chasing her in her dreams. A strange foreboding steals over Jessica, and she pleads with her mother to be careful. Her mother agrees, but Jessica still feels uncertain and grows desperate to understand why her subconscious mind is tormenting her.

Jessica asks her friends for their help, and they try to put the pieces of the puzzle together. But what none of them bargain for is the danger that awaits Jessica and her mother. Fearing for her and her mother's life, Jessica must call upon every ounce of her strength to combat certain tragedy.
