On the outside, it appears New York housewife Taylor Reed has it all. Married to a high-powered defense attorney, she lives in an upscale Manhattan apartment, seemingly surrounded by everything a woman could want-except a passionate marriage.

As her husband Jonathan directs his attention to his busy career and mistress; Taylor is left wondering why the love that once existed between them is now a mere memory. Eventually Jonathan wises up and realizes he doesn't want to lose Taylor. In an attempt to turn their troubled marriage around, he arranges for a lengthy stay for the two of them at their sunny Australian vacation home. While he lingers behind to wrap up a case, Taylor travels alone and soon crosses paths with a handsome young British stranger-sending both of them on a path of passion and danger. Jonathan, once a distant lover, now becomes uneasy and distrusting with his wife so far away. As his jealously builds, he makes his way to the island only to discover what he feared the most.

Three lives hang in the balance and Taylor must make a final decision-one that could have disastrous results.
