Poetry captures those precious moments, thoughts and experiences that are close to my heart. This collection reflects on the courage and struggles of unsung heroes that labor selflessly in development work. Servant leaders filled with passion and compassion for those in the hardest places: mine workers, rape victims, refugees, exploited laborers, orphans and people devastated by HIV/AIDS among others. They have taught me about faith that bears all circumstances with joy.
