Charlie Blue has fairy friends who often come to visit him. They teach him feats of magic and fly him to the moon. He learns mind control and how to move matter. With a test of his mettle, he can fade from sight. He does most everything else, but he does not bend spoons. When an alien nation threatens an invasion, dwellers of the forest unite that night. They devise a plan to overcome the enemy and rescue those in captivity. Now, at last, everyone is free to live their lives as they were meant to be.
