Time You Are There! Devastation, 3-Book Set Teacher Created Materials

Students will learn about natural disasters with the You Are There! series of nonfiction readers developed by Timothy Rasinski. This set includes 3 informational texts that will build students' critical reading skills while they are immersed in subject area content that focuses on significant natural disasters in US and European history. Middle school students will be engaged by these texts that are purposefully leveled to increase comprehension for different learner types. Aligned with Common Core State Standards, these texts connect with McREL and WIDA/TESOL standards and prepare students for college and career readiness. Titles include: You Are There!
