Inkquani, the first constituent of a three-part trilogy explores the heart, mind, soul, and conscience of Yanni Handcock, the artist, that continual battles with his love for women verses the love he has for his art and penmanship. Inkquani is a written two-year documentary that includes his poetry, letters, diary entries, and epilogues of his battles with the two. Inkquani is filled with gut-bucking narratives that give the reader an articulate insight while traveling beyond the realm of his pains and pleasures, while his honesty, hormones testimony and artistic merit the impacted driving force. In his battles to conquer his addiction of women and sex verses his addiction to art, Yanni finds that he does not fight these battles alone. As he engages in affairs and courtships with prostitutes, married woman, and close friends, Yanni realizes that he does not fight these battles alone.
