Sister Girlfriend Let's Talk Marshell Lambright

MY SISTER MY FRIEND My girlfriend was my inspiration in writing this book. Unknowingly to her shegave me much of my material. Some about her. Some about her girlfriend. For starters we work for the same company. People are always coming up to herasking if she has a sister that works here; or telling her she has a twin workingin another department. I also have people telling me we look alike. That wecould pass for sisters. That's how I came up with the title Sister Girlfriend. Anyway, the stories she would tell really bothered me to the point I feltcompelled to write. I thought if I could write her words down, have her see andread it on paper, then maybe she' d recognize herself; as if the words she werereading was like looking into a mirror. Letting her know she's not alone. Thatthere are others like her going through the same emotions. And just hoping andpraying that she' d do something about her situation. It's not my intent to slam anyone, but to only encourage and strengthen the soul. I'm sure many women will relate to my poems, whether it's about themselves orsomeone they know. My hope is that everyone who reads this book will recognize themselves andmove forward and not backwards. Realizing life is too short to be unhappy. Tolike and always love yourself, and just appreciate life. Bottom line, my goal is toencourage the sisters of the world. Marshell Lambright
