In this page-turner, the second in a series, forensic accountant Jack Reynolds, agrees to assist a beautiful client in locating her long-lost inheritance. Because things are never as they seem, the search delves into secret plans and patents that enabled elements of the U. S. Navy to contribute to the successful outcome of World War II, some sixty years earlier. In the search process, Jack, his pal Danny Lorenzo and a host of assorted participants come across sophisticated technologies that a major world power is now determined to acquire, even if they must kill to do so. The chase leads from the west coast to the east coast and finally onto the warm, pastel island of Bermuda and a final scene that unravels it all, to the delight of the reader.
