With Rings on Their Fingers

Based on a true story, With Rings on Their Fingers begins in Banbury, England, during the waning weeks of 1985, when Jonathan Ashford meets Darcie Bartlett at ballroom dancing lessons. Jonathan falls in love with her and offers to write her unusual life's story, a story that begins soon after WWII and tells how and why her parents, Clifford and Iris Bell, became Ministrares---Messiah's Ministry of Truth faith---emigrate to Salisbury, Rhodesia, and, after many years and for different reasons, return separately to their homeland. One nagging issue prevails throughout: How can someone be so completely insensitive to the hurt caused to others while pursuing their own dreams? Innocence and betrayal; hypocrisy and self-denial are but four words that help to provide a fascinating answer to the question and an attention-grabbing ending to the story.
