Archie MacLean, a mixed race private detective, is surprised by a sister he never knew he had. She brings news they are the owners of a resort in Barbados willed to them by their Scottish father. When Archie, his Amerasian wife, his Native American partner and his wife and his Scottish sister, Annabel, travel to Barbados to see the resort, they find the manager involved in a scheme to steal their inheritance. When confronted, the manager went on the run after shooting the attorney who had set up a fake will, naming him as the inheritor. Now the detectives are faced with the task of bringing down the killer before he can make good on his promise to kill Annabel.
