Death of Innocence Wistly

"Child, turn your beautiful eyes to the Heavens. Smile proudly, because you are loved by the light. Do not be afraid to shed tears, we all feel pain." The world can be a brutal place for children turning into young adults. This poetry anthology explores the loss of innocence through eight beautifully constructed poems in forms such as villanelle, reversal poem, and tanka.
