The New Covenant was only with 'Israel'. If we are part of that covenant we must be Israel, True Israel. While the 'church' professes to be 'spiritual Israel' they certainly are not True Israel. True Israel has specific characteristics that are not seen within the Christian Church. The church has forsaken the clear 'thus says the Lord' and is follow tradition, more than the Scriptures. That will be clear as you read this book. The Scriptures clearly tell us what it is to be 'true Israel' starting with Jacob, who, by his character change and his trust in God, became Israel. As you will read, there are many groups and even nations throughout history that call themselves Israel, but as Paul said, not all Israel is true Israel.
