Unexpectedly larger than most assume, Skye boasts over 360 miles of diverse, awe-inspiring coastline. The book takes a journey of discovery around this enchanting isle, visiting many of the most surreal landscapes to be found anywhere in the British Isles. Included are historical sites such as Dunvegan Castle, the oldest continually inhabited castle in Britain. Details are noted of the islands past history, the 18th and 19th centuries feature as the most turbulent.
