In this sequel to ""Shard of the Ancient"", one year has passed since the events of Operation Ragnarok. The Earth is slowly recovering from its crippling liberation, and Loki finds himself a man of controversy. Deciding he has no place among those in the aftermath, he follows the Cylvus to their new home. He finds himself a stranger in a strange land, where humans are the minority and science is shunned. A place where the fantastic is commonplace, and the stuff of legends happens every day.
