My Side of Midnight E. Annette Blake

My Side of Midnight is the first in a series of three long overdue poetry books being released by E. Annette Blake in 2014. The other two books, "Just Call Me. . . Annette" and a final surprise book of poetry are all slated to be published by the end of the summer. Those who have read Annette's poetry, including scholars and critics, have said that her poetic voice is, "stunning" and "mystical" and sometimes even "intimidating and scary." From the first line of the first poem that I read, I craved more and have always said her work is and will forever be, "addicting." Although each book is going to be completely different I know that they will also be very connected. Those who have read Annette's work will know to look for hidden clues and meanings throughout each book that will tie them all together in a way that baffles and intrigues both her fans and critics (because Annette's words are as complex and interesting as she is). - The Manciple
