What Broke Me. "It would've been two years yesterday. And I can honestly say that right now I'm happy." And those words became etched inside my eyelids, reminding me, that you are now what we once were together. This is not the end. This is just different. Love and loss seem to fit perfectly together. No matter how much you love someone or something there will come a time where you loose it. And it'll no longer be there for you. It could be as simple as losing your favorite hat, to something much more in depth like loosing your partner of 50 years to cancer. It's inevitable. The only thing we can do is love that something or someone with everything we have for as long as life allows us to have it. And I did. And I still do.
