"Your son has learning difficulties." This, we were told when our son, Robin, was 2 1/2 years old. The book describes our experiences, good and bad, all through his childhood and into adulthood. How his behaviour varied from his siblings', how friends and family reacted. And about what we accomplished and where we failed. The idea of writing this book was that it might be useful for parents in the same situation we faced fifty years ago. We, my wife, Jane, and I benefitted by meeting and learning from the experiences of other parents. So, here it is. I sincerely hope it will help you in some way in the tremendous task you may be facing.
