The key to understanding the altars is to understand their nature. Each one is different, with their unique characteristics exclusive to their placement in the altar pyramid. The attributes of the thirteen forces are at times parallel, but more often they are at odds with each other and yet still manage to perform a symbiotic relationship to achieve results that require their coexistence.
