Anthena Brown was inspired to write this book because of her love for children. She learned from a guidance counselor a few years ago that they are all different but special. She then began to think about how she could write a godly children's book. She asked the Lord to give her a title, and He did. She wanted one that kids could identify with, so He gave her God Can Keep the Scaries Away.. A lot of children are afraid of things that frighten them, especially in their darkest hour, but God wants them to know that regardless of what they are going through, He is always there for them.
