Michael Elliot wasn't concerned when he applied for a summer internship with the local police department. Working as a forensics investigator should be a relatively safe job, especially if you're just a lowly intern. Then his first day began and he realized his classroom experience hadn't prepared him for a real-life crime scene. Textbooks and photos can't compare to the smell of blood and gunpowder. The sight of a fresh corpse made his head spin and his stomach turn. That day, Michael made a small mistake with big consequences. Now, he sees shadows moving out of the corner of his eye.
