The Loneliest of Creatures John Anastasakis

As humanity steps into the new century, the belief that there are greater things and greater beings that lie beyond the surface of our understanding grips the psyche of many. Others claim that those beings are already among us and are just waiting to reveal themselves should humanity prove itself worthy of their attention. However, the truth that hides behind the hopes of those believers threatens to consume anyone and everyone. The one that stands at the center of it all is Ardtrea, an Alien refugee born on Earth. As she and those she holds dear remain hidden on Earth, the forces that wish them harm begin to act and change the nature of Earth and its relationship to the cosmos. When a tragic encounter separates Ardtrea from the love of her life, a young human named Joshua, she setsout to make those who wronged her pay the price. Combating her are the forces of 'Majestic', an organization run by the enigmatic figure 'MJ-Alpha', which answers to no Earthly power or government. Under its employ are men in black who maintain the façade of humanity's solitary place in the Universe. As Ardtrea threatens to disrupt the operations of Majestic, so too does she threaten to bring about a new age for humanity, but what will that new age bring?
