AMERICA'S EVOLUTION FROM A REPUBLIC TO A DEMOCRACY TO A SOCIAL-LIBERAL DEMOCRACY. The original idea of the Founding Fathers was for the three branches of government to manage the responsibilities granted by the Constitution and rebuke all transgressions against it. This is where subsequent generations have failed the Founders' ideas by giving the government more power than it can function with. As a result, America has evolved from a Republic to a Social-Liberal Democracy without ever amending the Constitution. Leftism, progressivism, social-liberalism and socialism are all just variations of the same ideology, namely vanquishing freedom from the citizenry of the United States. This evolution raises three questions: -"Has America already crossed the Rubicon and it's now too late to reverse the direction that the two major political parties have been leading America?"-"Will the governed let their children become little more than tax-paying slaves to cover today's illusion of prosperity, or will they resist their government?"-"If they choose resistance, then how?" The first few chapters logically flows from the historical intent of the Founding Fathers, to 20th century democracy, and finally to today's social-liberal democracy. It shows how the political elite have diminished America's liberties and changed its economic system to deluded and regulated capitalism mixed with various forms and degrees of socialism. The book then transitions to an explanation of why it is time to throw the political "elite" out of Washington and pull the nation back from the brink of an impending economic and social disaster. It explores the need for a resistance movement, the call for resistance, and finally a proposed methodology to compel the numerous States to convene a Constitutional Convention with the purpose of adding corrective amendments. The book concludes with twenty one proposed amendments aimed at limiting the federal government's powers as originally intended by the Founders.
