A novel entirely set in Finland, is the story of a man of whom little or nothing is known and accomplishes what he himself calls "my last journey". He leaves an arid and inhospitable land to reach his own family affections, to reunite himself to the Finnish portion of his soul. He carries his own collection of watches and a few cigars. He will live what he would never have expected to, reopen the doors to what he believed to seal, and discover that he still knows how to fight to defend himself and the people he loves.
