Author and life-long animal lover, Margherita Pieri, shares a tale that comes straight from her heart. Of Tuscan origins, Margherita was born in Milan and lived in Rome for many years, working as a publicist. When the opportunity arose, she moved to La Maddalena - an island in the Italian region of Sardinia - where she was able to fulfil her childhood dreams. It is in this beautiful archipelago that her desire to write stories arose. Her first novel was guided by instinct and inspired by her dog, Trip.
