Kenzie and Jake Morgan, Rebecca Snow's daughter and son-in-law move to their new home on Applewood Circle. The neighbors are friendly and welcome the newlyweds. A mysterious elderly man is seen walking around the circle at various times and triggers unhappy memories to all who see him. When the gentleman is discovered on the circle's island with a bullet hole in his chest, secrets, fears and resentments are revealed. Rebecca is determined to eliminate Kenzie's new neighbors as suspects in the murder and help Detectives Daniel North and Erica West find the culprit.
