Eastern Europe 2019 Tap Adventures

In June 2019, eighteen students, four teachers, and a handful of parents - joined by some new friends from other parts of the U. S., traveled from suburban Chicago all the way across the Atlantic to take an educational tour of Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, and Hungary. During their travels, they experienced the beauty of Lake Plitvice, explored medieval castles, roamed the streets of Budapest, reflected on the recent wars in the Balkans, visited ancient temples, strolled along Dubrovnik's city walls, and worked really hard to soak in every bit of culture they could. Each year we create a new book about our travel destinations, written by the students that are involved in our program and edited by the older students in our group, who act as mentors. This is that book.
