As the door closed and A. J. went back down stairs to wait for Annabelle, A. J. could not help but think about how quickly that he and Annabelle had become close. Due to how much they had in common, as well as how comfortable they were around each other, they had become close friends by the third day of vacation. There was also something, on A. J.'s part that had come. He had genuinely and completely fallen for Annabelle the wonderful, genuine, down to earth person. With this said, A. J. was once again thinking about asking her on a date.
