Even if Michelle could find a way out she has no memories of her past life to return to; anything beyond the asylum is merely static with only a few snapshots of police precincts and a man with a thick accent. As personal lives are mutilated the city around them cowers in fear of one active serial killer after another hunting in the streets. First its young men, then beautiful girls, and then mirror look a likes of Michelle. What appears as a series of isolated tragedies all have a higher, dark force driving the pawns in the psychological chess game.
