This is the story of (Cisero K. Murphy Jr) the first born child of a famous black sports figure, who and through no fault of his own grew up loving his father so much they both became inseparable. However, the year 1967, changed everything for Author Cisero. Being too young to understand the many complexities of adult behavior, Author Cisero grew up without his biological father being present in the early years of his life. Searching for answers and getting nowhere, is what left Author Cisero feeling hurt and confused; this caused him to start rebelling in school, against his mother (Janie) and his Step-father (Roy), and subsequently started hanging with the wrong group of boys in his Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood - and then it got real.
