The Bedlington Terrier is a small breed of dog that is named after the small mining town of Bedlington, in Northumberland, in North East England. The Bedlington Terrier is also commonly known as the 'Rothbury Terrier, ' the 'Rodbery Terrier' and the 'Rothbury's Lamb.' The breed was originally developed to hunt small vermin in mines.
