They give a sense of history and belonging and they connect one generation to another through the repetition of shared experiences. While holiday traditions are great and important, it is the little every day and every week traditions that really create the culture of your family. This is why God commands us to talk with our children daily about Him and His laws. This seems impossible in our busy daily lives, but it is eternally important and it CAN be done! Let me show you how family devotions can become a daily habit, something that happens almost without even thinking about it!Family devotions don't have to be the overwhelming, intimidating thing we often make them out to be. Family devotions can be simple! Maybe not always easy (because nothing about raising kids is easy!), but simple.
