Gabriella Sanderson spent most days reading books about adventures in her father's shop, dreaming of one day becoming an adventurer in her own right. It was only natural when the chance to sneak off with her boyfriend to investigate an ancient monastery, which had the reputation for being cursed, she took it. Enlisting the help of a few friends, she starts down a path to a new life of adventure. As with everything in life, her first adventure was not at all what it seemed. What they assumed was a monastery was something altogether different. They found an ancient citadel filled with danger and treasure for the taking. They had no idea what awaited them at the end or how it would change all of them.
