Attention deficit disorder (ADD) is a mental disorder that causes one to lose focus easily. That was what Coby had found happening to him. He wondered why it was so hard to pay attention while he was in school, why he was so forgetful, and why he was always so angry. What he didn't know was he'd been affected by ADD. His mother, Sofia, was determined to figure out what was going on with Coby so she could help him. After taking him to the doctor, they finally received answers. Coby began going to a center that specialized in mental health disorders and everything began to change for him. However, medicine wasn't his only defense against ADD. With all of the help he received-taking medicine, using crystals, and even being assigned a social worker-he was able to turn things around for himself. Determined not to let ADD beat him, Coby worked harder, and in the end, he beat ADD, becoming happier and more focused than ever.
