Sebastian Whitmore is Vice President to the Student Council, future Salutatorian, and strives everyday to keep on the straight and narrow so he can one day leave the small-minded town behind. The night of the party, he comes face to face with a terrible situation. He freezes and does nothing to stop it.
Out and proud Alex Morgan comes to school Monday morning after being attacked having decided to play in to the stereotype created for him. It's better that the one who's doing the harassing hurt him rather than he hurt himself. Although he accepts Sebastian's guilty hand of friendship, neither are prepared for the comfort the other brings.
While Sebastian comes to terms with his own sexuality and views on male friendships, Alex is struggling to live in a world that has told him he can't be who he really is.
