Outside Inside Outside is a 56-page book of 24 humorous poems, each with illustration, for children. All of the poems describe the idea of something being outside of something else, then inside, then outside again: air outside of lungs, breathed in, then exhaled; a spoon picking up ice cream, delivering it into a mouth, then going back outside for more; grass consumed by a cow, digested, and then pooped out. The poems bring to life animal and human characters, demonstrate biological principles, and show children and animals in situations to which children can relate (bath time, bed time, swimming, etc.).
