The time has finally come to let it out! My truth about a twisted era in my past is now documented into words. This was a time when I made a major and rash decision based off of physical attraction; that ultimately turned into nine years of repeated regret. Love, laughter, family, sex, friends, and blood was all wrapped up in captivity for years. I have chosen to free myself by writing on the pages of my life. My purpose is to deposit hope, encourage others to stand up for themselves, and initiate strength to cut the implanted puppet strings from someone else's misery. My book is a statement acknowledging that what happened to me is not uncommon. My struggle to leave; and ultimately end my unwanted situation opened my eyes to the fact that there are others who suffer a similar path. The beauty of life always triumphs over our past. Continue to trust, and believe as you walk into daily truth of value and courage.
