When she was thirteen and just starting out as a singer, she was put on remission. The good news is that Nikki has been on remission ever since. Hoping against hope, Nikki prayed that Dr. Ruiz, her oncologist, would say that she was officially cancer free. That would be awesome! Looking over at Nick, Nikki could not help but smile. Nick had volunteer-ed to come as support. Immediate-ly, Nikki and her parents had said yes! After all, it was a small yet big thing that he was doing for his best friend."Nikki Enders." The nurse called from the door. Silently standing up from their seats, Nikki, her parents, and Nick made their way over to the door where the nurse was standing.
