This book is a snapshot of today's government funded healthcare programs in America. It takes the reader on a journey of when and why these programs were created, why they seem to fail and what is being done to improve the plight of those depended on these programs for healthcare services to maintain good health and a long life. Given the nature of the slow cumbersome bureaucratic process of the national government; it is questioned whether a system will ever be in place to make it happen. m-Gap is a solution to merge the two health programs already in place, Federal and State to make it happen and discusses why America's economic culture is contributory and not suited for a single government funded healthcare payer system.
