This book includes anonymous true accounts of sexual violence, abuse, and predation that demonstrate the principles and strategies you need to learn and understand.

As with my other self-protection book, this too will be written in a bit of a workbook style to engage you as the reader in your own discoveries, expressions, and to help you identify the pieces you need in order to avoid sexual violence on your own journey and in your own terms.

When you have finished this book, read it again, and then give it to someone else to read. Gift it to a father who has daughters or a mom with girls about to enter college or pass it to your neighbor. Help someone find this material within your sphere of influence.

So much of what is written in the self-defense world is about the physical nature of violence, and of that, more has to do with the way men handle violence rather than addressing the needs of women in a realistic and thoughtful way.

The reality is that the majority of us are far further ahead to avoid what we can, and far more likely to use mental and emotional intelligence than we are to ever grace a physical self-defense class with our presence. And if I was completely honest, that is most often the better approach. It'll help to keep you from becoming distracted by all of the noise that exists out there which is often filled with well intentioned but bad advice and methodology. In this book, I'm going to cut through as much noise as I can and use as many shortcuts to learning as I know to get you the information in a way that is easy to learn, maintain, and implement.
