Uranus Bold Kids

Uranus is composed of hydrogen, ammonia, and water vapors over a very small rocky boundary. Its atmosphere is very similar to that of Jupiter and Saturn, but sometimes it has methane clouds. The methane gives Uranus its distinctive blue color. There are two possible ways in which to determine the composition of Uranus. The first is to use the transit method, by comparing what is found in the inner and outer gases of the planet with calculations using solar wind particles and the distance between the planet and the sun as the source of light.
