Transitions is a memoir detailing Eboni's exploration of self and human conditions. Set in Columbus, Mississippi, Eboni explicitly confronts exposure to sex, parental traumas and poverty. She questions ideologies of the Bible Belt and psychological health of her mother and explores fiercely immorality among impoverished conditions and mentality. She seamlessly blends dying a thousand deaths and rebirths of her childhood.
