This novella is the story of his journey to revisit the past and find a path forward for his life in a place in West Virginia where he had once been transformed from a fourteen-year-old juvenile delinquent to a responsible young man during a summer visit with a hard- nosed aunt and her former drill sergeant husband. Join Mr. Samuels as he revisits places and remembers experiences from that summer, learns of the loss of industry and other changes that have adversely impacted the area since, and finds inspiration and hope from those who have lived through and have successfully dealt with those changes.
