What happens when a long-time animal lover, -advocate, and -rescuer confronts a situation that pushes her animal-protection frustration to the breaking point? When Dr. Kiri Sumner, a practicing clinical psychologist and educator in the Albuquerque, New Mexico, area, witnesses shocking animal abuse, she's outraged. This is the final straw for her. It's clear that something must be done about this perpetrator (after she saves the badly injured dog).
