There were no true self-expectations initially, in part because of past negative feedback from others encountered that were unsure of their standing in life. There were however hopes and dreams that the future would hold more than pain and misery. The poems included in this, the second of three poetry books written consecutively, are primarily based upon life and learning to accept self. They allow the reader to explore feelings and emotions as they relate to standing strong, especially when the outcome is unclear. They introduce the innate challenges experienced when learning to balance family, career and friendships. This ... is About Life ...
