Marissa Anderson is broken after her mother's death and the move to the small town where her father grew up isn't helping. She is convinced that she will spend her junior year of high school completely alone and miserable. All of that changes when she meets a group of outcasts led by Evie Patton, who is broken in her own way. When Marissa reveals to her new friends that she has the ability to see spirits, she finds herself drawn into their paranormal investigations. With her help, the newly formed Ghost Hunters Society begins to dig up the whispers of the past as they document and help the restless souls of Culvers Grove. Danger lurks in the town, though, and when they set out to find the legendary ghost of the Weeping Bridge, the group soon realizes that some secrets are better left buried. It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt...and someone will.
