A Nation of Deceit Robert J Newton

Presidential elections, slimy campaign tactics... what happened to the land of the free and the home of the brave? When did our nation become a Nation of Deceit; when did we come to live in a world of liars and shenanigans, where politics and money mean more than the people? From Abraham Lincoln to Hillary Clinton, Barak Obama, and Donald Trump... prolific writer, Dr. Robert J. Newton needed to know the answers; his research began in the early elections of the 1700 and 1800's, where he found examples where the primaries of political parties circumvented the will of the people... through to the 2016 campaign where nothing much seems to have changed... from the beginning of our nation, it is almost devastating to discover how many things were signed into law by various presidents that enabled the United States to become a country that spans from coast to coast, yet those laws were frequently not in the best benefit of the people of the United States. "A Nation of Deceit" reflects how naïve a people we have become, trusting leadership that deserves not that trust; it reveals information most Americans are most likely not aware-and when we are not armed with the full truth, we don't make well-informed decisions, such as who deserves our vote. This book is not your normal, dry reading of historical events! Newton has pulled out his favorite characters from his myriad other books, James and Ann, and twisted the information you need to know in a seamless, passionate and often humorous story that is revealing, electrifying, and essential to citizens who want to stand up and participate in their leadership. The author contests Obama's suggestion, "The Constitution if outdated and an obstacle to progress." How about you? If you are ready for, as the sub-title suggests moving America from... A Nation Deceived A Nation Aggrieved to... Finding A Solution A New Evolution! then this book is for you!
