Armani Blair is a beautiful, ambitious young woman who tends to always put work before pleasure. With this mindset, she has been able to work her way up the corporate ladder, becoming Managing Editor at "Couture Magazine". She is stern and set in her ways, except when it comes to the love of her life, Marcus. Although she has had her share of relationship drama throughout her life, she managed to eventually find Marcus, who captured her heart just when she didn't think she could love again. Keith Sanders is a Freelance writer, whose swag and charm makes all the women come running. He has met his match when he is hired by Armani to work up underneath her supervision as Senior Editor of the magazine. Keith's arrogance makes Armani's skin crawl, and Armani's bad attitude sparks Keith's curiosity as to why Armani is so cold and unreasonable. She is the first woman he has ever come across that doesn't fall up under his spell, which doesn't bother him much, because within those office walls, he has plenty of options and he makes it his business to utilize them. What he really wants to know is what's behind the walls that Armani has put up. Keith attempts to slowly tear down those walls in order to expose the person Armani really is. In the midst of attempting to do so, Keith finds out some things that explain exactly why Armani is the way she is. Will Keith be able to break down Armani's barriers and gain her friendship?
