Washington Nationals IQ Tucker Elliot

The story of baseball in Washington has its origins on a sandlot just south of the White House that dates to the mid 1800s, but the origin of today's Nationals is north of the border and includes Hall of Fame legends Gary Carter, Tim Raines, Andre Dawson, Vladimir Guerrero, and Pedro Martinez.

It's important to celebrate today's stars: Ryan Zimmerman, Anthony Rendon, Stephen Strasburg, Max Scherzer, Juan Soto, Trea Turner, and many others ... but it would be wrong to dismiss the achievements of the guys who toiled in near anonymity with the Expos.

While the focus of this book is primarily the Washington Nationals' journey that culminated in World Series glory in 2019, it is also a celebration of the greatest moments, players, records, and heartbreak that together tell the story of this franchise.

It is the most complete book of trivia and history on the Washington Nationals, and its final chapter focuses solely on the 2019 club that defied all odds on its way to becoming World Series champions.

It is meant for diehard baseball fans, but whether or not you count yourself part of Nationals fandom is irrelevant, because baseball in Washington is inextricably linked to the history of baseball itself.

So sit back and reminisce with 11 chapters of Washington Nationals history, stories, and 220 brand new trivia questions that will wrack your brain and test your skills. It's your Nationals IQ, the ultimate test of true fandom.
