Gornia and Sarcus had been at peace for over a hundred years since the Great War, but peace wouldn't last much longer since the powerful black magician, Druck, took control of Sarcus from his weak father. Black Magic had been outlawed after the war, but Druck studied the dark arts in hiding with the help of an old councilman who wanted revenge against Gornia. Together, they renewed the darkest of magic in order to put the entire world under the dark clouds of tyranny and slavery. Lord Nilet, the most powerful magician in Gornia, sensed the dark arts, and he made a "diplomatic" journey to Druck's castle to find out exactly what Druck was up to.
